Hazeldean Guest House near to historic Carlisle makes an ideal base to visit the Northern
Lake District and the West coast, with Hadrian’s Wall
and the Scottish Borders only a short distance to the north
of the city, we are also only approximately 10 miles from
Gretna Green and The Old Blacksmith’s Shop. You can
find us just four miles west of Carlisle, on the A595, a regular
bus route which gives easy access to Carlisle City Centre.
The bus service also runs regularly to Wigton, Maryport, Cockermouth
and Keswick.
We are pleased to welcome walkers and cyclists.
We are conveniently situated on the popular Border Reiver
walkers path and close to the Cumbria Way cyclists route.
We have a secure lock up for bicycles and we can provide a
drying area with ironing facilities if required. The Cumbrian
Tourist Board has given us a three star rating for the quality
of our warm, friendly atmosphere and comfortable accommodation.
We have a small Conference/Training room which
can be hired with lunches or tea/coffee provided if required.
The room is suitable for various meetings, workshops or small
conferences.
